Governing Body

The Governing body consists of a combination of parent governors, staff governors, local authority governor, North Tyneside Learning Trust Foundation governors, Co-opted governors and the Headteacher.

In addition to the above the school is supported by a Local Authority Clerk. Tel: 0191 6438716.

Our School Improvement Partner is Richard Kielty.

The full Governing Body meets twice each term and to help its workload is supported by three committees, each with its own chair and terms of reference.  Committees consider issues within their remit [see below] and minutes are kept to record for the full governing body discussions and decisions made.  In addition, governors make focused visits to the school as part of their monitoring role and write reports for colleagues and staff.

Governors can be contacted via the school and non-urgent items can be placed in the special post box found in the reception area.  Minutes from the previous governing body meeting are available on request.
